Log Cabin Village, A Living History Museum in Fort Worth, TX




The Log Cabin Heritage Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that provides support to the Log Cabin Village in areas that exceed the staffing and budgetary limits of the City of Fort Worth Park and Recreation Department. By soliciting grants and donations from private sources and individuals, we are able to provide funding for staff professional development, dollars for matching grants, and resources for artifact restoration.

Board Responsibilities

Heritage Foundation EventMembers of the Log Cabin Heritage Foundation Board of Directors must attend regular meetings, become a Village Member, be a supporter of the Log Cabin Village and its endeavors, and commit to achieving the goals of the Foundation.

The mission of the Foundation is to serve as a support organization for the Log Cabin Village, a 19th century living history museum owned and operated by the City of Fort Worth. The Foundation provides funding for education programs, historic preservation and restoration, professional development and marketing.
